	Win a Year Free at the Jubilee is an annual fundraising project of the Jubilee Theatre Volunteer Company. Funds previously raised have been used to purchase items for the Jubilee theatre which were needed, but outside the parameters of the yearly operating budget – in essence, a "wish list." Some of the improvements at the Jubilee as a result of this effort include: Stove and refrigerator for the upstairs kitchen, used for community receptions and refreshments for touring performers. Furnishings for the theatre's "green room"—the backstage area designated for artists to relax before a performance. A portable orchestra shell used in acoustic performances such as choirs and classical ensembles. New technicians' chairs for the sound booth, reducing noise during performances which would otherwise disturb the audience. Assistance in the restoration of the piano donated to the theatre by the former Summerside Community Concerts Association. Donation to the Jubilee's "Artsperience" summer day camp program in 2004. A "snow machine" used in performances such as the Jubilee's annual Christmas Gathering. The grand prize of "A Year Free at the Jubilee" is just that—the recipient is entitled to two tickets to one performance of every ticketed event at the Jubilee for 1 calendar year. Grand Prize winners include: 2004 – Edgar Wedlock 2005 – Connie Paynter 2006 – Dianne Richard Subsidiary prize packages are also awarded, as well as monthly early bird draws. Ticket sales commence each spring, and the grand prize draw takes place at the Jubilee's annual "Christmas Gathering" community holiday variety concert in December. Tickets are available from any Jubilee volunteer, at any performance, or daily at the theatre's box office.
